• Starting the Game
  • Tap the brown and white button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Move left by pressing the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing the right arrow key.
    • Jump by pressing either the up arrow key or the spacebar.

  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the screen shows what level number you are playing.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has buttons for restarting the current level and returning to the level select screen.

    • This is a room escape game set in a variety of caves.
    • Hazards
      • Your goal is to get all the cats safely to the door while avoiding hazards like spikes, cannon balls, and lava.
      • Cannons shoot at a regular interval.
      • Spikes and lava do not move.
    • Cats
      • The first level starts off with a single cat.
      • As you progress through the game more cats are added to some of the levels with up to 4 cats on some stages.
      • When you move a cat you move all the cats at the same time.
      • After a cat has reached the door it exits the level and you then only control the remaining cats.
  • Levels
    • This game has 15 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a stage by getting each cat safely through an exit door.
      • You lose a level if any of the cats dies by touching lava, spikes, or a cannonball.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Before you move consider which cat should go first & plan your journey.
      • Sometimes you have to walk the wrong direction to get a particular cat (or set of cats) stuck so that you can move the cat which should exit first.
    • Platforms & jumps
      • Some platforms require falling off of so you do not jump another cat into spikes.
      • Some areas have spikes on the ground and in the air, requiring you to do a partial jump to not hit the top spikes while still being able to jump over the lower spikes.
      • When the ceiling is low (like on the bottom row of level 13) you have to jump with a high level of precision to avoid hitting the spikes.
    • Moving together
      • Cats can move atop each other, though they move where the higher cat running on the other cat moves faster as the speed vectors add.
      • Whenever possible it is typically best to try to move a single cat at a time (with other cats pinned against a wall or step) so that you don’t accidentally over-move or under-move another cat.
      • If some cats are near cannon fire you may need to move other cats in sync with timing around the cannon fire.
      • You can keep cats under solid ceiling blocks or to the side of walls or steps to avoid moving them into harms way while moving the cats you want to move.
