• Starting the Game
  • Press the blue and yellow button at the bottom center of the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the blue and yellow button at the bottom center of the game welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right corner. Left of the play button is a game developer information button & right of the play button is a more games button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Press the up arrow key to get the blue character running across the top to jump.
    • Press the down arrow key to get the red character running across the bottom to jump.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen controls.
      • Tap on the left side of the screen to have the blue magnet jump up.
      • Tap on the right side of the screen to have the red magnet jump down.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner has a sound control button.
    • Your current level number and collected stars are shown top center.
    • The upper right corner has a pause button. When the game is paused you are given options to resume play or restart the current level.
    • The level select screen shows how many levels you unlocked and the best star rating earned on each stage.

  • Basics
    • This is a tandem obstacle course running game where you control blue and red magnets.
      • Both characters automatically run right unless they are stuck.
      • If either character gets stuck both of them are stuck.
      • Time your jumps to avoid getting stuck & collect up to 3 stars on each stage.
  • Levels
    • This game has 18 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any point in time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win by having both characters make it to the far right edge of the screen.
      • You lose when either of the characters get stuck and do not keep up with the screen.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any level you lost, with the next play automatically loading right after you lose.
  • Tips
    • Memorize the layout
      • Each time you play a particular course the pattern remains the same, so in some ways doing well on the early part of a level can be seen as memorizing the pattern.
    • Split your focus
      • One thing this game is great at is getting you focused on movements with one character which cause you to miss a movement with the other character.
      • You can get around that by either splitting your attention or memorizing the movement patterns.
    • Independent jumps
      • You have to move each character independently or you will having timing errors with your jumps.
      • Once you time a single jump wrong that will cause issues with timing subsequent moves as the characters will remain stuck as the screen moves until you get out of the area you are stuck.
    • Jumps vs falls
      • In most cases if the platform you are moving toward is more centerline you can typically use gravity to fall onto it rather than jumping onto it.
      • There are 2 exceptions to the above:
        • Some platforms have chasms you have to jump over.
        • Some platforms have deep cuts followed by a wall which is hard to jump over if you come to a dead stop while falling in the deepest part of the path. Jump over the deep cuts rather than falling into them.
    • Star ratings
      • If you score fewer than 3 stars on a stage keep playing through to the rest of the game until all levels are completed & then come back to try to earn a higher star rating.
      • Later levels are harder, so playing through them will offer you more game variation & then coming back to previous levels will be easier as you are already acclimated to more difficult stages.
