• Starting the Game
  • Select the Play Game button in the upper left corner of the welcome screen to bring up the select screen.
    • If you have not yet entered a name then enter one to have your web browser automatically save your game progress.
    • Each web browser can store a total of 5 different names.
    • If you have already entered a then select it to continue your game.
    • After creating a or selecting a name the game will bring you to the level select screen where you can play any unlocked level.
      • Upon first play only the first level is unlocked.
      • Each time you complete a level you unlock the next.
  • The welcome screen has music control & sound control buttons in the upper right corner.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Press the spacebar at the beginning of each stage to start the stage.
    • Press control to read the signs, to activate switches, and to drag boxes or springs.
    • Press Z to switch between characters.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game is designed for desktop play with a connected keyboard.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner of the level screen shows which you currently have active, how much health they have, how many of the level’s total stars you have collected, and how much of the money scattered across the level you have collected.
    • The upper right corner of the screen has a pause button.
      • When the game is paused it shows an overlay menu with buttons for music control, sound control, restart level, resume play, go to level select screen, and go to game welcome screen.

  • Levels
    • This game has 25 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
    • When a level is beat you can go back and replay it to try to collect more money or a missed star in it.
    • Levels are beat when one of your team ed through an open door in the stage.
  • Unlocking doors
    • Each stage has a door to the next level.
      • The door can be located at the physical end of the level, near the starting point, or anywhere in between.
    • To unlock a door you must grab the key.
      • To grab the key one member of your party must go to where the key is located while the other member of your party stands at the flagpole.
  • Health & dying
    • Each character has their own health bar.
      • Running into spikes or standing near a bomb which explodes can cost you some of your health, though you can get hit a few times without dying.
        • It takes about 3 bomb blasts or 5 spike steps to deplete the health of either character.
        • If either character dies you lose the level.
      • This game requires you run back and forth & switch between characters to activate switches, move through gates, and collect keys.
      • The gray spikes on a muted background can be somewhat hard to see, particularly if you are running back and forth quickly.
      • Bombs are activated when you move near them and blow up a few seconds later.
    • If you fall off platform into the water you die.
    • This game offers unlimited continues, but when you continue you start back at the beginning of the level you died on.
    • Some jumps are hard to make, requiring you to move a box or a spring to the edge of a platform.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple platformer games.
