• Starting the Game
  • Click the yellow button at the bottom center of the game’s welcome screen.

    • Use your mouse left click to select the ball and swipe upward to kick.
    • Your mouse speed controls how hard you kick.
    • How long you keep the mouse pressed in with how far you move the mouse controls how high the kick goes.
    • Your movement left or right during the kick follow through impacts the angle of your kick.

• Game Play
  • Scoring
    • Each kick you make scores points.
    • 10 points – through the uprights
    • 15 points – through the yellow box
    • 25 points – through the center green box
    • When the football has flames around it scores are double for that kick, so you’d earn 20, 30, or 50.
  • Strategy
    • Get off to a good start.
      • The game does not have a pause button, but time does not start until you kick the ball.
      • The dead on kicks from straight away with no wind are the easiest ones you will face all game.
      • The game only gets harder after you kick from an angle (effectively making the cross section of the crossbars narrower & have cross winds which can throw your kicks off.
      • Try to get the ball in the center green square for a large score.
    • Dealing with the wind.
      • If the cross wind is light (e.g. 1 mile per hour or less) you can typically aim just left or right of center to offset it.
      • If the cross wind is moderate (e.g. 1 to 3 miles per hour) try to aim for the opposing crossbar and hope the wind pushes it in.
      • If the wind is higher than 3 or 4 miles an hour you will likely need to aim even outside the opposite crossbar.
      • Any of the following will increase the impact of the wind on your kick
        • A sharper spot angle for the kick (e.g. the less you are parallel to the plane of the crossbars the easier it is for a cross wind to knock the ball off course through a smaller entry window)
        • Kicking the ball higher (the ball takes longer to get to the goal and is up in the wind longer)
        • Kicking the ball from further out (longer time in the air to get thrown off course)
        • The wind going at a faster speed
      • Be sure to adjust your kick to new wind conditions after each kick.
    • Fire footballs
      • The fourth kick in each location is a fire football. These are the football equivalent of the striped money ball in a 3 point shooting contest as these footballs are worth double the points
      • You can give them a lot more time when you kick.
      • it is not only left or right that matters, but if you can get it through the yellow or green box you score a lot more points – especially with the fire football that doubles the kick score.
    • Points vs remaining balls
      • If the wind is heavy and you are kicking at a steep angle there is heavy incentive to be happy trying to score 10 points making a kick that simply goes through the uprights.
      • If wind conditions are light or your kick angle is easy it can make more sense to put more time into trying to get the ball through the green center square for additional points.
    • Kicking speed vs time
      • Most players will likely run out of footballs before they run out of time, so it makes sense to take it slow and make accurate kicks.
      • If you find yourself with almost all your footballs left and 25 or 30 seconds left you can afford to kick faster and be more aggressive.
