• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin.
  • Choose the number of letters in each word. You can guess words with up to 6 letters.
  • Select the gear button on the top right corner to open the following options:
    • Speaker button: Turns the game’s audio on or off
    • Enlarge button: Let’s you switch between windowed and full-screen modes
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your keyboard, type in the letters onscreen.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the letters on the onscreen keyboard with your fingers.
  • Controls and indicators
    • The spaces you put your guesses in occupy the center of the screen.
    • The top left corner shows the number of words you need to solve.
    • On the center right are 2 options:
      • Hint
      • Give Up
    • The gear button is found on the top right corner.

      • Enlarge button
      • Exit button: Quits the game and returns you to the welcome screen

  • Basic rules
    • Guess the word within 6 tries.
      • Type in the letters to make a guess.
      • Only English words found in the game’s dictionary count.

  • Scoring
    • The scoring in this game for each individual word is subtractive.
      • You start each question with 100 points.
      • Each time you make a guess, you lose points.
      • You also lose points for using hints.
    • Your final score is cumulative across all the words.
  • Guide
    • Black letters aren’t part of the word.
    • Orange letters are in the word, but are in the wrong place.
    • Green letters are in the correct place.
  • Hints
    • You get one hint per word.
