• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following options:
    • Select the play button to begin.
    • Select the settings button to open the game’s audio controls. Flip the switches to turn them on or off:

  • Basic rules
    • Defeat all the thugs patrolling the building.
      • The thugs move around the building in arbitrary movement sequences and have a line of sight.
        • The line of sight is a translucent yellow and is shaped like a pie slice.
        • Thugs move around. Hide somewhere away from their line of sight until they move away (or look away).
        • Ideally, strike at them when they’re not looking & when they are far away from other thugs. Hitting them when they are rounding blind corners provides a great opportunity.
      • To kill a thug, simply select them. Your character will move in and kill them on .
        • Move fast to take them out as quickly as you can.
        • Try to find thugs who are nearby and whose line of sight is away from you.
        • If they’re further away, try to take them while you’re not in their line of sight (i.e. from behind).
        • If you are in their line of sight, kill them immediately to ensure your survival.
        • If you tap directly on a thug your path will change with theirs to follow them. You can make a series of smaller clicks to guide yourself along the path and then only click on them or click a path ing through their position when you are close to them.
      • Kill all the thugs to clear the level.
    • If you come into a thug’s line of sight, he will shoot.
      • You only have a short window before they try to shoot you.
      • It becomes harder to survive if you’re in the line of sight of 2 guards.
        • Any time you are hint you become stunned for a period of time, which can allow your enemies to shoot again.
      • Once you’re shot twice, it’s game over.
        • Upgraded characters can take greater damage before dying, but taking damage will lower your star rating.
  • Levels and star ratings
    • There are 72 levels in the game, which are unlocked sequentially.
      • Clear one level to unlock the next.
      • You can replay any of the levels in this game.
    • Each level has a star level.
      • The star level depends on how well you managed to evade the enemy thugs.
      • The more thugs shoot you, the lower your star level will be.
      • The highest star level is three stars, accomplished when you killed off all the enemy thugs without too many of them spotting you & none of them shooting you.
  • Coins and shop
    • You earn coins after completing each level.
      • Regular gray enemies you defeat are worth 100 coins each.
      • Red enemies are worth 200 coins.
    • You only earn coins when a level is beat.
      • If you die during a level you do not earn any coins.
      • You can replay previously beat levels to earn more coins.
    • Use the coins you’ve earned to unlock new hitmen in the shop.
      • Enter the shop button to unlock and hire new hitmen.
      • Higher ranked hitmen become harder to see and harder to gun down.
      • The table below highlights character attributes and costs.
  • Cards
    • Each hour you can get a card from the loot box.
      • Select 3 of the same cards to assemble them.
      • Keep assembling cards to level 5 cards.
    • Select a level 5 card for skill improvement.
      • In addition to character cards there are cards for things like tactical boots and heavy armor.
        • Tactical boots increase your speed 50%.
        • Heavy armor boosts your defense 55% and your speed 5%.
  • Achievements
    • 20 different achievements revolve around collecting cards.
    • There are 10 phantom hitman rewards, which are reached each time you reach a key level like levels 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 72.
    • There are 5 star squad achievements, which are obtained by unlocking 2, 4, 6, 8, and all 10 characters.
    • There are 5 ghost rider achivements, which are obstained by winning a game without alerting many enemies.
    • There are 15 achievements based on how many times you play. Earn a new achievement after 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, 120, and 150 games.
    • There are 35 achievements based on how many enemies you kill. Earn a new achievement at 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 110, 130, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, 300, 330, 360, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1,000, 1,100, 1,200, 1,300, and 1,400 enemies.
    • There are 10 die hard achievements based on receiving shots. Earn achievements at 5, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 120, 160, 180, and 200 shots.
  • Tips
    • Character selection
      • Try to get the best character unlock you can afford as having faster movement speed, more stealth & more health can get you out of a lot of tight areas.
      • If two characters are quite similar you can skip an upgrade cycle or two and save up for a better character.
        • There is no need to unlock lower valued characters you skipped over until you are nearing the end of the game, if you want to complete the game 100%.
    • Complete levels & star ratings
      • If you earn fewer than 3 stars keep playing through subsequent levels, as you can always come back to early levels later on after upgrading your character.
      • You only score points, earn stars, and collect coins when you complete a level.
        • If you keep dying on a level consider upgrading your character, or replaying prior levels you earned fewer stars on to obtain the cash needed to upgrade your character.
      • If levels are easy to beat you can save your money until they become more difficult, then buy the best character you can afford.
      • If you keep losing on a level & can not afford to buy a better character it can make sense to go back to levels you earned a lower star rating on earlier in the game and replay them to try to earn a better star rating.
    • Battle strategy
      • If you are starting a level fresh it can make sense to play aggressive off the start & then play more conservatively as you make progress.
      • This enables you to take out a lot of enemies when the risk of error is low (e.g. just restart the level again), while allowing you to minimize the risk of losing when a level is almost complete.
    • One at a time
      • If you are in an area with many enemies it usually makes sense to let them space out before attacking.
      • This gives you more time to respond to counterattacks and to avoid the sight of other enemies.
      • Enemies may abruptly change directions when running into each other. Having space between them lowers the odds of you getting seen during an abrupt direction change.

  • The game is suited for players who like stealth room escape games.
    • Players play as a soldier who must take out enemy forces by surprise.
    • When sneaking up on other players the player uses a knife and the game does not show blood.
    • When the player blows their stealth they get shot at and the game shows blood.
