Build, expand, and upgrade the operations of a mining company run by moles.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play at the center of the screen to begin.
    • Select the gear button to the lower right of the play button to open the following options:
      • Select the BGM switch to turn the game’s music on or off.
      • Select the SFX switch to do the same with the game’s sounds.
    • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • Overview
      • Operations consist of 3 basic components:
        • The mole tunnels mine out the minerals.
        • The elevators bring the mined minerals up to the surface.
        • The mole hill handles the transport of the minerals for sale.
      • At the beginning, these operations must be coordinated manually. Upgrade them to automate their work cycles and improve their output.
      • Use the earnings to buy more
    • Micromanagement
      • At the start of the game, you must micromanage the entire operation.
      • Micromanagement consists of left clicking or tapping on a tunnel to order the mole to perform one work cycle.
      • Once the mole has finished their work cycle, they must be selected again to continue.
      • This can get tedious over time, so try to hire a manager as soon as you can afford one.
    • Managers
      • Once you hire a manager for an operation, the worker moles will continue their work cycles automatically.
      • Managers can be given praise, which will make their operation work faster for 30 seconds.
        • To give praise to a manager, select the lightning button above them.
        • A timer will appear above the manager.
        • The praise timer has a cooldown period of 5 minutes.
      • Improve a manager’s efficiency by upgrading them. Upgraded managers make workers’ output more profitable.
  • Tunnel construction and management
    • Tunnels are built in underground chambers.
      • You start with no tunnel built. The first tunnel you build will use up your starting fund of $10.
      • The deeper you go, the more expensive the tunnels become.
      • Despite the themes shown in-game, functionally all the tunnels are mines.
      • There are 9 total tunnels you can unlock: mole farm, grocery, casino and bar, sleeping cabin, gym, room, canteen, science lab, and grand hall.
    • Sometimes, you will encounter impenetrable ground.
      • To build here, you need to pay a large sum of cash to break the ground.
      • Breaking the ground is a separate cost from building a new tunnel.
    • Tunnels begin staffed by one mole miner.
      • You must pay a separate fee to hire a manager. The managers cost more as you move deeper down.
      • You gain another worker every time you level up 25 times, 50 times, 100 times, and 200 times, and 500 times.
  • Elevator and mole hill management
    • You begin with both the elevator and mole hill already constructed.
      • The elevator expands with the number of new tunnels built. Its capacity will not grow, however, unless it is upgraded.
      • Although the mole hill does not grow, its capacity increases each time you upgrade it.
    • The movement of goods follows this pattern:
      • The elevator mole will pick up the minerals collected from the tunnels from the top down. The mole will skip the levels with nothing on stock.
      • Once the elevator reaches the bottom, it returns to the surface with its cargo.
      • The minerals appear on the surface on a crate. That’s the mole hill mole’s cue to pick it up.
        • The elevator mole can add more minerals to the crate if they make a second or third trip.
      • The mole will now bring it to the hill to be sold. They will pick up as much as they can carry.
    • If you notice that the moles aren’t clearing all the minerals from the tunnels, it’s time to upgrade them.
      • You can clear up small backlogs by praising their managers.
      • Because of its time limit, this can only be a temporary fix.
      • Use the money you’ve earned from the burst of productivity to upgrade the elevator and mole hill.
      • Like the individual floors, you can also hire managers for the elevator and the molehill.
        • It costs $400 to hire the elevator manager and another $400 to hire the mole hill manager.
  • Cash flow
    • Active cash flow
      • Active cash flow represents the amount of money you earn while playing the game.
      • This is your only source of cash when not all of the operations have managers yet.
    • Idle cash flow
      • Idle cash flow becomes available when you have managers on the elevator, mole hill, and at least one tunnel.
      • You earn idle cash for every second you aren’t playing the game.
        • Coming back to a game after taking a break can be a very pleasant surprise.
      • The rate of your idle cash flow depends on the size and effectiveness of your operations.
        • As you add tunnels and buy upgrades, you improve your idle cash flow.
        • Even at its base amounts, idle cash flow can be quite profitable.
      • You will lose your idle cash flow if you reset your progress.
  • Upgrades
    • Upgrades make significant improvements to each of your operations.
      • Buying an upgrade increase the capacity and speed of each operation.
      • For tunnels, reaching levels in the multiples of 25 increases the number of working miners.
      • For managers, upgrades also removes 30 seconds from the cooldown time of their praise boosts.
    • Select any operations box to open the upgrade window.
      • The upgrade window explains the improvements applied in the next upgrade.
      • At the bottom of the upgrade window are the four options for upgrades:
        • 1 upgrade level
        • 10 upgrade levels
        • 50 upgrade levels
        • Max: The maximum number of upgrade levels you can afford.
      • The button to buy upgrades only becomes active if you can afford it.
    • Each upgrade has a ramping cost. Later upgrades cost more.
      • A table below highlights upgrade costs.
    • The game will alert you when you can afford an upgrade by placing a green arrow above the things you can upgrade.
  • Manager upgrades
    • Each floor manager may be upgraded 10 times, with each upgrade tripling floor production for that floor.
    • The elevator and the molehill managers can also be upgraded 10 times each, with each upgrade doubling the businesswide production.
    • Upgrades are available after a floor reaches levels 25, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, and 400.
      • You can upgrade the floors into the thousands of levels, but the managers can not upgrade anymore than 10 times each.
      • If you advance the floor level past the upgrade point you can do a series of catch up upgrades to the managers.
  • Investors
    • When you’ve earned trillions in cash, investors will appear.
    • Onboarding an investor will clear your previous progress in exchange for greater profits on your new mine.
    • The more investors you have, the higher your profits will be on the subsequent play.
    • This game starts with you earning small sums & more per floor as you move deeper, but you can earn a lot right off the start of a game if you had many investors.
      • Eventually after going through trillions the game uses letters like A, B, C, and then AA, AB, etc.
      • The maximum stored income you can have in this game is 179.77 DT. This is also the maximum idle income earning rate per second.
