• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select Play on the bottom left corner to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the top right corner to turn the game’s sounds on or off.

• Game Play
  • Setting up
    • You start the game in the upgrades screen, where you can choose from one of six types of upgrades.
      • Once you have enough coins, you can unlock them.
      • You must collect their icons before you can use them.
      • Once unlocked the upgrades remain unlocked on subsequent plays.
  • Basic rules
    • You automatically start running forward (i.e. to the right).
      • Left click or tap to ascend upward, then release to fall back down.
      • Often, you’d need to alternate between rising and falling very quickly to stay in a specific height. This will help you avoid hitting anything.
    • Collect as many coins as you can.
    • Survive for as long as possible.
      • Try to dodge stationary hazards such as blades by staying in a specific level.
        • Often, these have a lot of coins. Attempt to collect these coins at your own risk.
      • Missiles will actively approach you.
        • A warning sign appears each time a missile appears.
        • Missiles often fire in groups.
      • Lasers will trap you up or down by moving toward either the ceiling or the floor.
        • Determine which direction it’s going, then move there.
        • The laser will not go any higher or lower after a certain point; stay in this area until the laser disengages.
        • Being trapped by a laser makes it near-impossible to dodge a missile.
    • Collect large stars to activate the armored robot.
      • The armored robot will protect you from all hazards for a brief period before exploding.
      • The robot will also collect any coins that its arms can reach.
      • Clicking or tapping will allow the robot to shoot at approaching hazards, which can help extend its life.
  • Power Ups
    • Types
      • The heart power up costs 500 to unlock. Unlocking it allows you to continue your game after getting hit, provided you collect a floating heart before you get hit.
      • The magnet power up costs 800 to unlock. It automatically activates whenever you collect a floating magnet, and helps you attract coins.
      • The lightning bolt power up costs 1,200 to unlock.
      • The battery costs 1,500 to unlock.
      • The shield costs 2,000 to unlock.
    • General
      • After unlocking a power up it stays unlocked on all subsequent plays.
      • Each power up can be activated by running into a floating icon of the same type.
      • Unlocked power ups show at the top of the screen in white outlined boxes with small numerical counts indicating how many of that power up you have collected.
  • Scoring
    • Your score is determined largely by the distance you travel.
    • The longer you keep running, the higher your score gets.
    • As you gain familiarity with the course generalities & unlock more power ups it is easy to travel further.
