• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the game loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Move the pixel right on the welcome screen to the target flag to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your gameplay data.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button. The lower left has a game developer information button & the lower right has a more games button.

    • Use your mouse left click button to select a level on the level select screen.
    • Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.

  • Basics
    • This is a room escape platforming game where you must make your way to the flagpole at the end of each stage.
      • In addition to offering a standard jump and lateral movements in this game you can wall climb by jumping from side to side off of adjacent walls.
    • Hazards
      • On your journey avoid falling into the lava at the end of the screen & avoid touching any of the red lava blocks located across the remainder of the levels.
    • Platform types
      • Solid white – fixed platforms that do not break or move.
      • White outline – temporary floors or walls which break moments after you touch them.
      • Cyan – moving platforms which move when you step on them.
        • Once these platforms begin moving they keep moving until they have completed their path.
        • Some moving platforms move horizontally while others move vertically.
      • Red blocks – fixed or moving lava in the air which you must avoid.
        • Lava begins to move on some stages starting in level 21.
  • Levels
    • This game has 40 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level by safely reaching the flagpole.
      • You lose a level by hitting a red lava block or falling into the lava at the bottom of the stage.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of whichever level you lost.
  • Tips
    • Starting levels
      • On some stages you can cut the course difficulty significantly by moving left or right as the level starts and you fall into position.
    • Clearance
      • One of the more frustrating aspects of this game is some movements have limited clearance.
        • Slide down a wall you have jumped onto so that you make your jump from a lower position.
          • This is required on many stages to avoid red lava blocks above the target platform & red lava blocks built into the temporary walls.
        • Some jumps require you to make them when you are barely on a platform so you do not hit your head. These may require you to jump further than your target & then pull back while in midair.
        • On some jumps where there is not enough clearance you have to do a fast fall off to the side to avoid hitting your head and having enough distance to make it to the next platform.
        • If you are standing right next to a wall and you jump to climb it you will probably jump off the opposing wall.
    • Break down
      • Some portions of the level have lava near the walls and temporary walls or floors that break which force you to have tight timing not to die.
      • When you are on fixed platforms you can take a bit of a break to gather / regroup and plan the next portion of the level.
      • Treating each stage as a series of smaller sections makes it easier to beat the game than trying to play large complex stages in a single rapid with no breaks in it.
    • Moving platforms
      • The moving platforms that are already in motion keep moving even if you jump off them, so be sure that you time your landing on any jumps to land on them again if you still need them.
      • Some moving platforms will crash into lava blocks if you stay on them too long, so be ready to jump off them.
