  • There is no welcome screen. Once the game loads, you can begin drawing immediately.
• Game Controls

    • Draw using your mouse.

    • Draw using your fingers.

  • Interface
    • The drawing area (canvas) occupies more than 2/3 of the screen. Have fun!
    • The controls for the game are on a narrow strip on the left.
      • Top
        • Toggle grid: Turns the grid lines on the canvas on and off.
        • Pixel size: Choose between bigger or smaller pixels.
        • Share on Facebook: Show your creation and the program to all your s.
      • Center
        • The palette: Pick one of 20 colors to create your work.
      • Bottom
        • New: Clear everything and start from scratch.
        • Save: your finished work onto your device.
  • Laying and removing color
    • Pick a color from the palette.
    • Lay it down anywhere on the drawing area.
    • If you make a mistake, go over your art with white to remove it.
  • Finishing your work
    • When you’re done, you can save a copy of your work on your computer screen. Be sure to turn off the grid before saving your work.
    • Alternately, you can (also) share your finished work on Facebook.
  • Limitations
    • This program has no fill function. This makes it difficult for people who make larger pieces as they must fill in the pixels one by one.
    • It also has no undo button. To erase, you must white out the pixels one at a time.
  • Tips
    • Erasing can be tedious in this program.
      • We recommend whiting out minor mistakes if you want to preserve much of your original work.
      • If you think you have too many mistakes, your original work, then select new. Use your older work as a reference.
    • Use another program like MS Paint to crop your finished artwork and make it easier to share.
    • The program is ideal for drawing compact pieces of pixel art, such as our example below.
