• Starting the Game
  • Press the Start button in the center of the screen to play.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including purchased upgrades and coin savings.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
  • The bottom of the welcome screen has the upgrades menu.

  • Desktop
    • Press the escape key to exit full screen mode.
    • You can move using either the mouse or the keyboard.
      • Mouse – left click on the screen and hold it, moving your mouse around to change your direction of movement.
      • Keyboard
        • Move up by pressing the W key or the up arrow key.
        • Move down by pressing the S key or the down arrow key.
        • Move left by pressing the A key or the left arrow key.
        • Move right by pressing the D key or the right arrow key.
    • When you are on the game over screen you can left click on the bottom buttons to change between menus & to purchase individual unlocks or upgrades within the menus.

    • Tap the screen and move around it to run away from enemies, strategically planning your routes to avoid getting hit.

  • Basics
    • This is a dungeon crawler styled surivival game where your goal is to survive as many waves as you can.
      • You die if you get hit by any enemy or any projectile fired at you.
      • As you advance through the waves you encounter new enemy types and more enemies per wave.
    • Each time you defeat an enemy you collect coins.
      • The indicator in the lower right shows a maximum of 999,999 coins, but you can carry far more than that.
      • Whenever you die you can spend the coins on upgrades.
      • Upgrades make your attacks more powerful, allowing you to quickly clear waves.
  • Waves
    • You fight enemies in waves.
      • All enemies in a particular wave appear at once, and you fight until they are all defeated.
    • Each time a wave is cleared you see the outline of where enemies will appear in the next wave.
      • The shadows can be used to see how many enemies will appear, what types of enemies will appear, and where they will appear.
  • Enemies
    • Bats – they move quickly at you.
    • Inmates – they move slowly at you.
    • Fire shooting monsters – they are stationary but shoot fireballs at you. They first appear in level 12 and look like rectangles with ears.
    • Shirtless gray monster with green hair – they are significantly bigger than other enemies. They first appears around wave 22.
    • Red hairy monsters – They are a similar size to the gray monsters & first appear around wave 36.
  • Upgrades
    • Menu layout
      • When the game loads there are 5 buttons at the bottom of the screen: fighting attributes, magic, costumes, bonus coins, and developer credits.
        • Whichever menu option is selected is darker than the remaining menu items.
      • If you have the fighting attributes menu activated there are 4 buttons at the top to represent each of the types of upgrades.
        • As you cycle through each it will show what your level is, along with the cost to upgrade.
        • If you are already at level 50 then the upgrade button is disabled and it shows MAX on it rather than a coin amount.
      • If you have the magic menu selected there are 4 buttons at the top representing each type of magic.
        • As you click into each type of magic it shows the name & cost.
        • If you have already acquired it the cost button will instead state ACQUIRED.
    • Fighting attributes
      • You can upgrade the character strength, attack speed, bullet speed, and coins collected per battle.
        • Each of these features can be upgraded a total of 50 times.
          • Strength and more coins start off at 50 coins for the first upgrade, whereas bullet speed is 80, and attack speed is 100.
        • Each time you upgrade a feature it costs 20% more for the next round of upgrades on that feature.
          • The final strenght upgrade costs 315,852.
          • The final attack speed upgrade costs 634,056.
          • The final upgrade for bullet speed cotss 506,064.
          • The final upgrade for coins costs 315,852.
    • Magic
      • There are 4 magical powers which can be unlocked: ricochet, knockback, freeze, and clone.
        • All 4 powers can be unlocked and equipped at the same time.
      • Ricochet makes your shots ricochet off the walls and costs 20,000 to unlock.
      • Knockback causes stunned enemies who were recently hit to move backward and costs 50,000 to unlock.
      • Freeze costs 200,000 to unlock and causes enemies to temporarily stay in place after being hit.
      • Clone creates a replica of your attack weapon which also flies out and hits enemies. It costs 500,000 to unlock.
    • Characters
      • You start off as a dwarf.
      • The warrior knight costs 20,000 to unlock.
      • The pumpkin costs 100,000 to unlock.
      • The necromancer costs 500,000 to unlock.
      • You can switch between characters before any game.
  • Tips
    • Upgrade order
      • Upgrade your coin collecting first so that you quickly collect coins and can afford other upgrades.
      • When you run out of affordable coin upgrades do a few strength, attack speed, and bullet speed upgrades.
      • When coin upgrades get to be somewhat expensive be sure to purchase the ricochet upgrade and the knockback upgrade.
      • As the other upgrades get more expensive collect the freeze and clone upgrades.
      • The skins are mostly just a cosmetic difference, so upgrade those last.
    • Before the wave
      • Keep moving around the screen between waves so you do not miss seeing an enemy which spawns where you are standing.
      • Try to position yourself near a relatively empty portion of the level as soon as you see the enemy outlines.
    • Defeating enemies
      • You automatically fire at whichever enemies are closest to you first.
      • It may make sense to approach near a bat to defeat it so that it is not chasing you around the level as you other enemies.
    • Dodging attacks
      • Before you have powered up significantly the best way to last through many waves is to do a square-like shape around the perimeter.
      • Whenever you defeat enemies you pick up coins which fly toward you.
        • These coin piles can obfuscate your view and have you miss seeing a shot which was fired.
        • If shooting enemies are far away from you they still can hit you unless you move, so be sure to move orthogonally to them periodically to throw their line of fire off.

  • The game is suited for players who like simple survival games.
