• Starting the Game
  • Press the gray and white PLAY button on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the 1 button on the welcome screen to load the first level.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
• Game Controls

    • Move left by pressing either the A key or the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing either the D key or the right arrow key.
    • Jump (or move through open exit doors) by pressing either the W key, the spacebar, or the up arrow key.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • This game was designed for play on desktop computers with an attached keyboard.

  • Basics
    • This is a simple platforming game featuring a cute character who just wants to exit the dungeon.
      • Help him through the castle one room at a time by collecting keys or activating switches to open gates & exit through the door.
    • Resetting
      • The game features a variety of reset buttons.
      • When you step on a reset button any item outlined in pink returns to where it was at the beginning of the level.
        • Gray markings in the background indicate where things will return to.
      • Most levels are designed where you need to hit a reset button at least once.
  • Levels
    • This game has 8 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win by exiting through the exit door. On most stages you need to collect a key and/or activate a switch to open a gate in front of the exit door.
      • You die if you run into the side of enemies, if you stomp on a spiked enemy, or if you fall into the lava.
      • This game offers unlimited continues. If you get stuck you can either intentionally die, press a nearby reset button, or hit the home button in the upper right corner.
  • Tips
    • Dying vs reset button
      • If you make a mistake sometimes it is easier to die than to make it over to the reset button.
        • If you die it erases your current progress (e.g. a key placed in a lock to unlock a gate would be removed and the gate would be locked).
        • If you step on a reset button the items in pink go back to their starting positions, but any unlocked gates remain unlocked.
    • Level guides
      • Level 1: Fall down, stomp the enemy & push him into breaking the brick to the right. Hit the reset button, then stomp the enemy & push him into activating the switch on the right.
      • Level 2: Jump down to the left, then jump right onto the bottom center platform. Jump back left, collecting the key, and hitting the switch to restart you at the beginning of the level with the key in hand. Jump right to unlock the gate and fall down through the door.
      • Level 3: Jump up and to the left, then stomp the enemy and knock him across. Push the big stone off platform left. Hit the switch. The enemy will reappear on the top platform & walk right to hit the switch. After the gate is opened go right to the exit.
      • Level 4: Jump right and up to collect the key and unlock one of the side top gates. Hit the reset button again, collect the key again, and unlock the other top side gate. Walk over both switches & then exit through the door on the lower left.
      • Level 5: Jump right across to the top and stomp the reset switch. This will cause the block to fall, potentially crushing some of the spiked enemies. Repeatedly stomp on the switch periodically until you have defeated most or all of the spiked enemies. After the enemies have been defeated push the block left, grab the key, and go through the locked gate & door in the lower right.
      • Level 6: Jump on the top enemy and push him down and to the left to destroy the spiked enemies. You can then jump on the initial enemy you sent flying away to stop him. Collect the key, move left, back up, across the top, unlock the gate & exit through the door in the top right of the stage.
      • Level 7: Jump right across the enemies, bouncing off of each one and using their hard shells to avoid hitting any of the spikes. If you move too slowly off the start you can hit the reset button to put the enemies back in motion again. Hit the reset switch on the right to restore the enemies, then grab the key and jump left across the enemies. Avoid hitting the next reset switch so you keep the key, jump over the switch to the platform on the left & then jump up and right to exit the stage after putting the key in the gate.
      • Level 8: Jump right while avoiding the spikes and the moving spiked enemy. Jump up and back toward the left, stop the enemy, and push it off platform down and to the left. It will break all the blocks. Jump left, then jump left again to where the big block it, and jump over the block then push it down the hole. Get right of the block, push the block left, use the block to collect the key, then hit the reset button. You go back to the entrance while still holding the key, and the big block is left of you. Push the big block left & use it to climb up to put the key in the lock. After the gate has been unlocked go back right and then up and left to the final exit.
