• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play to begin the game.
  • Select Help to learn how to play the game.
  • Select High Scores to view the game’s leaderboard.
  • Use the drop down list on the bottom left corner to choose the game’s language.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
    • When loading the game again, it asks whether you want to start anew or resume from the last level you played.

  • Basic rules
    • Link up 3 identical tiles to remove them from the pile.
      • The path connecting the tiles must not be obstructed by any other tile.
      • These paths can be formed between adjacent tiles and tiles that have a side next to an empty space.
      • Tiles within a stack cannot be included in a group until at least one of their sides is clear.
      • In normal Mahjong Connect lines can not turn more than twice at 90 degrees, however in this game lines can turn more times provided it allows for an unobstructed path.
    • Clear all the tiles before the timer runs out. You have 5 minutes to clear the level.
    • Starting from level 3, the tiles will all move to any one of the sides of the field.
      • The tiles will “fall” as you remove tiles adjacent to them.
      • This will complicate matters as falling tiles will cover potential pairs.
      • As you advance through the levels the direction tiles fall will change, and toward the later levels the movement can not only be back and forth on each subsequent move, but also include movements in all 4 directions.
    • Play through all 10 levels to win.
      • After 6 levels in there are tiles with a bomb on them that detonates in a minute.
      • Even if your level time limit is 5 minutes you must match off bomb tiles in the first minute before they explode.
      • The final level has 3 separate bomb tiles on it.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 10 points for every group of tiles you clear.
    • You also gain a bonus score for finishing early. Each second of remaining time is worth a point.
  • Assistance
    • Reshuffling
      • If you cannot find any valid groups of exposed tiles, you can reshuffle the tiles to make them easier to clear.
      • Each time you reshuffle, you lose 150 points from your score.
      • The game will automatically reshuffle if you run out of valid pairs.
    • Hints
      • Selecting the hint button will reveal the location of a potential valid pair.
      • Hints can also spare you the trouble of reshuffling.
      • Hints cost 25 points.
